What we offer

Get Ready for Work

Supports young people to move into a job, further training or college, by helping them focus on what they want to do. They can also learn new skills and get the confidence they need to move on to further training, learning or into work. The programme is open to 16 to 18 year-olds and all trainees are paid a training allowance.

Modern Apprenticeships

Offer learners over 16 the opportunity to develop good levels of skills and to progress within their career.

They are an exciting way of gaining skills and qualifications that will help to start a career without having to study full-time, and are available across a wide range of industries. All Modern Apprenticeship frameworks are developed by the industry or sector in which they will be implemented and therefore encompass all the skills required to become a craftsman, technician or manager within that area.

Modern Apprenticeships can be done at any age.

REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene is designed for those whose work involves food preperation. This qualification ensures you are fully compliant with regulations and have a good understanding of food hygiene and best practice.

Scottish Licensing Qualifications

Protocol Skills now offer the SCPLH and SCRSA qualifications for those people involved with the licensed trade.

SCPLH - Licensing for Personal License Holders is designed for those who authorise the sale of alcohol to the general public, such as Landlords. In accordance with the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005, this qualification is mandatory and must be completed in order to obtain a personal license from your licensing board.

SCRSA - Licensing for Staff Reposnsible for Selling Alcohol is designed for those who work on licensed premises, such as bar workers or supermarket cashiers who must act within the law to ensure alcohol is sold responsibly.
